Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)

Are you passionate about sustainability? Do you want to constantly search and identify market problems and solutions that have the ability to impact some of the largest global issues we face today? Are you already an entrepreneur, one in the making or dreaming of becoming one in the future? 

Built environment is responsible for nearly 40% of global GHG emissions and is one of the industries going through a huge transition towards sustainability. This poses an opportunity for impact minded people to create something bigger that will help also future generations.  

Kiilto Ventures actively looks for ways to tackle global challenges from climate change to circularity via active discovery and incubation. Therefore, we are offering opportunities for passionate entrepreneurs who already have or are looking for the next big idea to take off the ground with us.

What do we expect from you? 

• You already have existing operational experience as an entrepreneur or from startup, accelerator, management consulting or similar environment. You can also come from an academic background.  
• You have existing knowledge and experience in the fields of sustainability, technology or business development. Experience within the built environment is an advantage 
• You already have a superpower that top founders need 
• You are willing to go all-in in the journey of an entrepreneurship 
• You have proven track record of project ownership and leadership with exceptional end results 
• You are or want to become an entrepreneur 
• You are fluent in English both written and spoken 

How does the EIR model work? 

• You can reach out to us with your own idea even if it is not turned into a company or even to something finalized yet. We’d love to hear it and we can assess if it’s something we believe we could develop forward together. You can either submit your idea via our website or apply to this role including your idea as an attachment in a free format 
• If you do not have an idea yet but you have the passion and skillset to build something together with us, send us your CV and cover letter here and we will get back to you. 
• Be that your own idea or something from our discovery, we agree on expected timeline and deliverables with each idea & EIR 
• The progress will be tracked according to the agreed timeline and deliverables and continuation and potential funding will be agreed upon accordingly 
• The compensation model as well as our potential investment will be discussed during the first calls
